Hunters Point Tyronda Starks returns from college (Clark Atlanta) and takes first offered (PTR) Professional Tennis Registry certification test to work with the 10 and under juniors.  " I will now be in a position to help juniors at the age I was when I started tennis and know they will get the best training that can be offered" Tyronda said.  We all have your back.

When you are waiting for your juniors to finish.

If you have the chance to meet some of these YTA Hunters Point juniors along the way, stop and ask them how they are doing and I'm sure you will be suprised at the answers they give.

It was great seeing one of our YTA members from Hunters Point today out playing tennis and using some of the life skills learned to be apart of the tennis club life. Not only did he have the skills to be on the court with members of the club but was able to instruct and help out with tennis,. How great was that?

Juniors From H.P. Still In Touch

It was great hearing from another junior from the Hunters Point Site of YTA, Marsae and his brother Anthony. Just the other day Faheim Wesley called along with Master. Its great to know that they still remember.

When they learn, they can teach.

It's great to see the juniors pass on what they learn, tennis as well as life skills to others.

We remember Rich and Renee at HP.

When we were at HP the help from Rich was truly a god send, even though we worked him hard he showed up everyday. Thanks

We Love When They Smile.

Most days we want the juniors to smile, and when they competed and won that is when
the smiles came.

It is a joy to see the juniors get their first trophy with such pride. It will not be the last as they now know how and that will make a great difference between coming in second in anything life brings them.

I was reminded by a friend of the good time we had while at Hunters Point, and now that his site was closed by YTA, I'll continue to publish pictures of the great years that I spent there (10). Lets start off with my friend Rich who helped in a time I needed help.

I Often Wonder About The Old YTA Site

Even though, I've only been away from Hunters Point for about three years, I often wonder about the juniors that attended the site and if any of them are still playing and more so if they are using their life skills learned?
