Summer 2025 @ HUNTERS POINT

We are looking forward to the summer and all that it will bring. Laver Cup and a assortment of new tennis players at the site.  Hope you can drop and get you tennis on.

 

2025 And Spring Is Just Around the Corner.

 With the winter months behind us, everyone is looking forward to a great Spring and Summer tennis season. there will be many activities including the Laver Cup coming to town and maybe the possibility of a visit to the site from the teams.  The courts are continuing to look great, and we have The Academy of Arts tennis team enjoying them for their practice.  Weston is still donating goods for the juniors and we than him constantly.

 

 Yesterday for my birthday it was great to get a Happy Birthday shout out from the YTA Executive Director Mike Skinner and Board President Peter Wright.

 With the courts resurfaced and everyone enjoying the great weather at H.P. this has been fantastic summer.

 Weston Reese donated shoes to H.P.. We thank him for the many years that he has supported us.

Another Instructor at H.P.

 H.P. has a new junior instructor Auston and the juniors are getting along with him. Still in high school and learning how to instruct is great.

Happy Feelings At Hunters Point 2024

 H.P. has a new instructor from the Academy of Art tennis team. Jessica is from Columbia and a junior so we should get some good use of her talents before she graduates.

 Now that we have a fresh New Backboard the juniors can practice their strokes.

 With the reopening of the repaired courts everyone came to see, including the Mayor.
