Rich Back On The Court

After a brief leave of absence from the tennis courts at HP Rich is back and feeling fine even after losing 7-5 in a set with Jennah today.  Glad to have him back and looking forward to going to Stanford next month for the Bank Of The West tournament.

Something New At HP

We have a New stroke trainer.

New Equipment For HP

With the addition of a new teaching aid purchased  by John Garad on his visit to Wimbledon, the juniors are having a great time learning. 

Tyronda visiting HP

Tyronda while in the city visiting came by the site where she grew up and assisted with practice today.  She boost as the only player coming out of Hunters Point tennis program to hold a Masters degree and looks forward to working on her Doctorate.

With the addition of John Gerard at the Hunters Point Site we have help that has been needed.  As soon as the courts are repaved and an additional person to assist with academics will you see a new and improved NJTL site of YTA.

A New Generation Of Hunters Point Players

A six year old that enjoys and would like to continue the sport of tennis here at Hunters Point is Ariel Koonce, remember the name as she will be playing in her first 10 and under tournament at the SFTC Sept. 13. become her fan.

For The Kids Dinner@Bank Of The West

YTA For The Kids Day was a    success, Willie Mays and Barry Bonds attended as Mr.

 Mays was presented a plaque for his contribution to the Hunters Point site of YTA.  The plaque was given to Coach White to someday display it on the site after resurfacing  of courts and fence repairs are finished..
